ABOUT BEYOND TARGETS EVENTS
Beyond Targets Events is an event organization dedicated to hosting benefit sporting clay shoots in support of nonprofit organizations that serve survivors, families, and communities in need.
Founded by Jing and Sidney Collum, Beyond Targets Events brings people together around a sport they love and a cause that matters. Each event is designed to turn participation into impact, channeling generosity into real, tangible support for organizations doing critical work on the ground. We believe that community has the power to heal, that generosity creates momentum, and that hope is something we build together through action.
The 2026 Reloading Hope Benefit Shoot will support East Texas Crisis Center, Hope Haven of East Texas, and HOPE Jacksonville.
WHAT WE BUILT TOGETHER WITH HOPE
JING & SIDNEY COLLUM
Beyond Targets Events began as a simple idea. It started with two people, a sport they loved, and a quiet need to give back.
Those two people are Jing & Sidney.
They are co-owners of a business and life partners, co-architects of hope, and building their work and their lives with the same commitment to service, resilience, and responsibility.
They started SidNetworks, a local IT company that supports the technology needs of small businesses in East Texas. It began small, rooted in service, trust, and relationships that mattered. As the company grew, they came to understand something that could not be ignored. Success was not something to hold onto. It only mattered if it was put to use. Giving back was never a gesture. It became a responsibility. From that understanding, Beyond Targets Events was born.
For Jing, this mission is deeply personal. Years ago, she walked through her own season of crisis, uncertainty, and rebuilding. She knows what it means to survive when the ground disappears beneath your feet. She also knows what it means to be lifted by compassion, safety, and hope at exactly the right moment.
What started as a benefit shoot became something more. A way to turn participation into purpose, competition into connection, and generosity into tangible change. Every target shattered became a chance for someone to rebuild. Every shell reloaded - that was hope. Each one represented a step forward for a life being rebuilt.
Because of you, hope keeps growing. And together, we keep building what hope asked of us.
RELOADING HOPE 2025: THE IMPACT
In 2025, together with our sponsors, shooters, volunteers, and community partners, we raised $26,253 in net proceeds for the East Texas Crisis Center.
This isn't just a number.
It's 26 months of groceries for a family of 4.
It's a full year of rent for a survivor and her children.
It's nearly 19 months of childcare for 2 children, giving a single mother the chance to work, breathe, and rebuild.
This is why we say we are powered by HOPE.
HOPE means Heal. Overcome. Persevere. Evolve.
It is not a slogan.
It is a process.
One that continues long after the last shot is fired.
