Competition in San Antonio, Texas

Beyond Targets Events was founded with a singular mission: to unite people through the sport of sporting clays while making a meaningful impact in our community. Driven by a deep passion for both the sport and philanthropy, we created Beyond Targets Events to host charity shooting events that directly benefit local nonprofit organizations, such as the East Texas Crisis Center (ETCC).

Since 1978, ETCC has been a lifeline for individuals and families affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and violent crime. As a long-time Board Member, I’ve witness firsthand the powerful impact they make in countless lives - and I know this impact personally. In 2002, when I first came to the United States, I had dreams of building a new life but soon found myself facing a painful divorce, holding my newborn son with little support or hope. ETCC became my sanctuary, offering shelter, compassion, and a foundation to rebuild. With their help and the support of attorney Deborah Dobbs, I was able to keep my son by my side and start a new journey, one that took me from barely speaking English to eventually earning an MBA. None of this would have been possible without the care and generosity of the ETCC and our community.

In 2016, after 11 years as a single mom, I found my soulmate, Sidney Collum. Together we started SidNetworks, an IT company dedicated to serving small businesses in East Texas. As our business grew, we felt a deep desire to give back to the community that has supported me. Our passion for sporting clays and our commitment to giving back led us to create Beyond Targets Events, a company that seamlessly blends our love for the sport with our mission of supporting meaningful causes.

Our upcoming First Annual Reloading Hope Shootout on May 17, 2025, at 5H Shooting Sports in Frankston, Texas, will raise crucial funds for ETCC. This event will bring together teams, sponsors, and supporters from across East Texas to join us in Reloading Hope. It’s important to note that 100% of the net proceeds will directly benefit ETCC's essential services, from providing emergency shelter to offering counseling and advocacy for survivors.

We’ve attached a sponsorship packet for your review, and we would be deeply grateful to have you join us in this endeavor to make a lasting difference. Together, we can give back to a cause that changes lives every day.

With gratitude,

Jing & Sidney Collum
